We are pleased to announce the CHRISTMAS MAGICAL MENAGERIE by Handmade Parade.
Handmade Parade is an internationally renowned company from Calderdale who run Award Winning, huge events with Parades and community events.
For the CHRISTMAS MAGICAL MENAGERIE they will be bringing their HUGE, spectacular sculptures and lanterns into The Market to create a beautiful backdrop to market goings-on. They will be running ‘Xmas-Making Workshops’ to create a beautiful Fesive piece to take home, and another to add to our ‘Alternative Christmas Tree’. Its for children and adults (Kids from 1-92?!).
ALL EVENTS ARE FREE
There will be entertainers, pop up food stalls, a market trail & music, with special offers from Market Traders.
So come along, sit and stare, make art, eat fabulous food, meet friends and wander our wonderful Victorian Market to get your Christmas Shopping. Knowing you’ll be supporting lots of local small businesses.
WHEN?
The weekend of 15th & 16th December – 10am – 4pm.
The event will be set up 2 days prior to this.
After the weekend, the high-level lanterns will be left up until the new year, as an attraction to visitors.
22nd & 23rd December
This will also form a backdrop to the weekend of 22nd & 23rd December Christmas Market where will be pop-ups, music, entertainment and offers.
